We tried three things. Baklava, kanafee and cheese cake. All of the items were out of this world. Hard to stop eating. Energy of this bakery is really appealing. We would be going again for trying other stuff.
I was craving the kunafa and my husband found this authentic place - so glad he did and we only ordered one cheese pull - it was sooooo good! It smells so buttery and I had a wonderful experience. DMV is so lucky and blessed to have this amazing bakery! The baklavas are ALWAYS delicious! The Knafeh, it is the BEST! You have to get it when it's right out of the oven. You will become obsessed with it! Jenin pastry used to sell their baklava in a beautifully designed box. They were a perfect gift to give to friends and family during the holiday/Eid seasons. But recently when I went to buy those boxes of Baklavas, they didn't have it. I really hope they bring back those boxes. They were put together in such a nicely presented way.
What an amazing hidden gem! The young lady that helped my brother and I recommended some of the popular desserts and it was spot on! All were great but our favorite was the freshly out of the oven Knafeh! 100/10! Glad they are sharing some of their culture with all their customers!
I can’t say enough good things about Jenin Pastry Shop in Virginia! The knafah was absolutely incredible—fresh, hot, and perfectly balanced. The cheese was beautifully stringy and melted just right, giving you that satisfying pull when you take a bite. It was so smooth to cut into, and every piece felt like a warm hug from home.
Superb pastries. Kunafe, Custard, Baklava Pastry and nuggets were amazing. Staff was very helpful and vibe was great too.. I would want to live next to it so I can go there everyday.
If you’re looking for the most delicious knafeh, this place is an absolute must try! The cheese is perfectly melted and creamy, while the crispy golden crust has just the right amount of sweetness and crunch. Every bite tastes fresh and rich, and the syrup is perfectly balanced not too heavy or too sugary.
We’ve been to many places that offered cakes, ice creams, sweets, but Jenin is a different level. The sweets are tied to a different culture. You don’t find traditional dessert, and what they offer is different, and delicious. Once you try it you’ll definitely be back
Simply the best Arabic and Mediterranean Sweets shop in the DMV area. Fresh sweets, clean and hygienic area. Always love to try something new. They are very honest.
